Living As Marketplace Missionaries

“Wake up then, and strengthen what remains that was about to die, because I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of my God. Therefore, remember what you received and heard, and obey it, and repent. If you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will never know at what hour I will come against you.” Revelation 3:2-3 NET https://bible.com/bible/107/rev.3.2-3.NET

The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few; pray for laborers to work in the harvest. I am praying for men to join me in prayer, evangelism, and discipleship of men and for men in this state through CBMC. The government, the media, and the university are increasingly hostile to the gospel’s message. Since removing prayer and teaching about Jesus from public schools any symbol of Him from the public square, they now wish to remove His teaching from the public airwaves. How does this occur? It happens because those who know Him fail to serve Him by obeying His command to make disciples. We have one job: to work at seeing His kingdom come and His will being done on earth as it is in heaven. Using our vocation and location, we make our occupation by seeing people come to Jesus and obey His commands. We must engage, or we will continue to lose the culture, bringing increasing hostility to our worship and sharing His word. Jesus is watching. Jesus is working. The harvest is plentiful, and the workers are few. Who will engage, showing themselves faithful to the end and worthy of receiving His reward?
