The Cost of Love

Deuteronomy 30.11 states now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or imagebeyond your reach.

God has given us everything we need for knowing Him and for doing what is pleasing in His sight. This ability is in itself a gift from God, a demonstration of His love and grace. What kind of God would He be if He left us confused or ignorant of Who He is or what He requires from us. (more…)

Transgenderism is Nothing New

Deuteronomy 22.5 commands a woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s imageclothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this.

Transgenderism appears to be an issue dating back to at least the time of Moses for God commanded His people not to participate in such activity.

Doing or Being or Both?

The Christian perspective of righteousness, right standing with God, is both a matter of being and doing. God requires righteous doing, without someone obeying Him perfectly no one can be right with God. The problem is no one can do what God requires perfectly all the time, maybe, none of the time.

Jesus did obey perfectly and can transfer His perfection upon everyone who calls upon Him for mercy. (more…)

Who is God?

Isaiah 33:22 describes the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; it is Heimages Who will save us.

How do we see God? What role does He play in our lives?

The great prophet Isaiah working in a culture similar to ours many years ago reminds Israel that God acts in four ways in our lives. (more…)
