Matthew 22:29-32 NIV “Jesus replied, “You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God. At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. But about the resurrection of the dead—have you not read what God said to you, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.”” https://bible.com/bible/111/mat.22.29-32.NIV
A lot can be known about a religion by the reward it offers. The Muslims provide virgins to the men. A sexual heaven is good for men, I suppose, but not much for women. Likewise, the Mormons offer men planets with many wives for populating a people who will worship them. Again, a sexual component is good, I suppose, for men but not so much for women. The One True God began His message to us by telling us that He made male and female in His image. From the beginning, men and women have had equal value and significance through different roles in His kingdom. In the end, men and women who have been reconciled to Him through Jesus the Savior will be sons and daughters of God equal in value, with no sexual activity, but living together forever in joy, health, and harmony. The One True God is eternal, and so has promised eternity to the pinnacle of His creation, man and woman. This eternity begins with our resurrection from the dead. Jesus proved this would happen when He was raised from the dead and appeared to more than 500 people over forty days. Upon our resurrection, we will face the judgment of God, Whose ways have been revealed through the Scriptures so that we can prepare ourselves for that encounter. Those who have humbled themselves before Him and have loved Him will enter life abundant forever. Those who rejected Him and ignored His commands will enter life in torment and suffering forever. Male and female, equal in value, will be raised from the dead, some to eternal life and others to eternal condemnation based upon our relationship to Jesus, God the Savior.
