A simple life purpose for all of God’s people. First keep yourself. This means adhere to the words of God, know them, do them, apply them at all times. Make obedience to God, the pleasing of God and His approval the highest and first objective. Keep your soul. Do not expose yourself to great evil. Pornography, new age religion, Marxism, astrology, evolution, all of these things that the evil one uses to confound us, to confuse us, to cause us to question God and His goodness. So much of the public education system, and the news media is corrupt, dishonest, misleading and intentionally designed to destroy our faith. It must not be let into our hearts and minds. Instead, we teach our children so they can teach our grandchildren the word of God, the truth of God found in His word. We reinforce our children’s teaching to their children by encouraging our grandchildren to know God and to obey His commands. This is our life purpose, to know God and to ensure the progeny God gives to us in this brief lifetime know God. If we are faithful to walk in God’s ways and to teach our children to do the same we will arrive before our God and Father where we will be accepted by Him and then rewarded by Him for being faithful and having lived a life pleasing in His sight.
