Do not harden your hearts as when they provoked Me, As in the day of trial in the wilderness, Where your fathers tried Me by testing Me, And saw My works for forty years. “Therefore I was angry with this generation, And said, ‘They always go astray in their heart, And they did not know My ways’; As I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest.’ ” Hebrews 3:8-11 LSB https://bible.com/bible/3345/heb.3.8-11.LSB
Our deeds prove our beliefs which are the product of our thinking. Our thinking is determined by our instruction, both informal and formal. Our formal education repeatedly ignores God, even denying His Words recorded in the Scriptures. Too many Christians have come to believe the pagans whose god is their desires made legitimate by their science and causes them to believe they are wiser than the Christian who believes in God and also the inerrancy and infallibility of His Scripture. The Christian must decide who is true, God or man. Jesus, Who claimed to be God and was crucified by unbelieving men for such rhetoric, claimed to be the truth. Today Christians have an opportunity to put action to their belief in God based on their understanding of God’s word. Christians must vote against the evil abortion bill that will legally consume even more children and allow the maiming of others who believe they are a different gender than the one God designed them to be. Christians must not follow the pagans in their headlong foolishness. Christians must obey God as He describes Himself and His commands in the Scriptures if we will find ourselves accepted by Him on that day when we meet Him for giving an account of how we lived this life. Today we have been given an obvious choice for evil. This choice Christians must refuse if they are to honor their God and do good to stem evil in our world.
