“When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dream. Our mouths were filled with laughter then, and our tongues with shouts of joy. Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord had done great things for us; we were joyful.” Psalms 126:1-3 CSB https://bible.com/bible/1713/psa.126.1-3.CSB
Trump won, and what joy I and so many others feel. Why is this? I believe a great evil exists in the party running the country today because of their endless and shameless promotion of death through abortion and the maiming of children through gender transformation. I greatly feared a power existed behind dementia Joe that could not be removed. I am so glad I was wrong. Yesterday, the Lord’s word gave us hope from Psalm 125 that He would remove the wicked from power. Indeed, He has, and so we rejoice with this Psalm. Trump is no righteous man, for sure. He is not the Savior of the Church. He is simply the force to remove, hopefully, the evil rot that has been in Washington for so many years because he is not one of them. He is not greedy like them, for he made his own money. He is not power-hungry like them, for he has been president, the pinnacle of political power. He may have been greedy and power-hungry, but he is not using America to meet those needs. Rather, he is using his means to make America better according to his vision, which is far less nefarious than that of the other party. So why did God move people to vote for Trump to win? To give His Church another window for restoring this land’s moral integrity. The church must seize this opportunity by sharing the gospel and making disciples. We are free to raise our voices without fear, so we must win and disciple as many people as possible while the Lord has blessed us. We in the Church are still responsible for doing His work, establishing His kingdom upon earth as it is in heaven. Let us repent from our previous laziness, rejoice in this new opportunity, and work diligently to restore the righteousness upon which America was founded.
Amen. Thanks for being a truth-teller, Mike!
