“From one man he made every nation of the human race to inhabit the entire earth, determining their set times and the fixed limits of the places where they would live, so that they would search for God and perhaps grope around for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us.” Acts 17:26-27 NET https://bible.com/bible/107/act.17.27.NET
Once again, the Bible confirms that God made all people from His original one person and his wife. All people are equal in value in the eyes of God. Only Christianity, no other religion, including atheism with its evolutionary tale of origin, makes this same claim. Yet men want to be god rather than worship and serve the One True God. Therefore men have made more minor gods, like them, that they can serve. These gods are like them and so require little of them. The true children of God, those who know Him in Jesus the Savior, have the assignment of helping those who are groping for God to know the One True God. This is the mission of the Christian, the Great Commission. Wherever we live, with whomever the Lord has joined us relationally, these people are our tribe and the people to whom we are called to go and make disciples. Some love their small gods, including the god of themselves, but these are not open to truth. These we pray for daily. Others are groping, ignorant of the One True God because of the noise made by so many lesser gods. These we also pray for but further engage with truth from God’s word while living according to God’s ways. Living God’s ways reveals God’s wisdom and goodness, so necessary for drawing all people to Himself. Why we live as we do must be explained, and this is where our testimony of coming to know the One True God in Jesus the Savior is necessary. We must live for Him even as we seek opportunities to explain Him to those seeking Him.
