The Word Made Flesh: Unveiling Jesus’ True Divinity

John 1:1-4, 14 NIV “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind…..The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” https://bible.com/bible/111/jhn.1.1-14.NIV

The Bible opens with God, the Almighty, hovering in Spirit over nothing, and then He speaks, and all of creation is born. This Word God spoke is Jesus, God Almighty, Who brings into existence all that is and gives life to all that lives. Jesus is God. He is not a god like the Jehovah’s Witnesses proclaim or the Hindus add to their thousands of gods. Jesus is God, though denied by the Mormons and the Muslims, for they have created their own gods. Jesus is God in the flesh, appearing as a man because He is also fully human, giving infinite dignity to the pinnacle of God’s creation: humanity. Many university students today deny Jesus as God and His sinless, perfect nature. It is indeed difficult to understand this Trinitarian God, one God in three persons. The Jews, too, reject Jesus as God, not seeing from their own Scriptures God’s foreshadowing of His living among us as one of us in order to save all of us from the judgment to come for the sins all of us commit. When God lived among us as one of us, He asked His disciples who they thought He was. We must all ask this question and come to the proper conclusion: whether we will be acceptable to God, Jesus the Judge, on that day when He judges each of us to evaluate our eternal destiny. Those who believe He is the only true God and thus bow their knee before Him and do His will today will receive eternal life of forgiveness, love, joy, peace, and abundance. Those who reject Jesus, denying His divinity and His role as Savior of the world, will be condemned to live in pain and suffering forever with all those who have likewise denied Jesus on this earth. God can be God in man, but man can’t be a god or acceptable to God by rejecting God as Man in the Lord and Savior Jesus.
