True Good And True Bad Ensures All Of Us Are Bad

“Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, in this way death spread to all people, because all sinned. In fact, sin was in the world before the law, but sin is not charged to a person’s account when there is no law. Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who did not sin in the likeness of Adam’s transgression. He is a type of the Coming One…….So then, as through one trespass there is condemnation for everyone, so also through one righteous act there is justification leading to life for everyone. For just as through one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so also through the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous.” Romans 5:12-14, 18-19 CSB https://bible.com/bible/1713/rom.5.12-19.CSB

There is a growing belief in the Church, which has been prevalent for a long time among the pagans, that we are born sinless and then become sinners when we do what God forbids. This is an incorrect doctrine proven by the death of everyone, even the infant because death is the great curse thrust upon humanity when we rebelled against God. All die, so all are tainted with sin. People don’t like this idea because they see themselves as good and not bad, and they define bad as disobedience to God. It is bad to disobey God, but the greatest rebellion we demonstrate against God is failure to obey Him. We think we are good because we don’t murder anyone, yet we curse our neighbor repeatedly. We are good when we worship God in Spirit and Truth. We are good when we deny ourselves, take our cross, and follow Jesus as Lord. We are good when we share the gospel with our neighbor, seeking and saving the lost lest they perish in their sin and live forever in the fires of hell. We are good when we lay down our lives for our friends so they can see Jesus and place their faith in Him. Real good is obedience to everything Jesus has commanded. Real bad is failure to obey Him as He has commanded. We must conform our thinking to God’s since He is humanity’s final judge and determines our eternal destiny. God will not have an epiphany on that day He meets us face to face, and we attempt to argue our way with Him. We will be held accountable for every Word He spoke and recorded in His Scripture so that we are without excuse for doing His will.
