Many people have their own religion, and the world has many religions. All of these religions attempt to please their god so that when they meet their god on that day of accountability, they pass that god’s requirements for heaven, whatever that may be. This religious zeal can take the form of justice as defined by the worshiper or righteousness, again, personally defined. We see this in the many young people on college campuses who are trying to please their self-made god of righteousness and justice. What makes our religious attempts right, what is justice and righteousness, is determined by God and not ourselves. If there is only one God, then there is only one way to that God, for that God defines His path, and He determines what is good for it is that standard He will use to measure people. The One True God has proven Himself through history, science, and relationship with humanity since He created all that is, was, and ever will be. Yet we have continued to reject Him, wanting our own way, ignoring His way, so we go our own way. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one enters heaven apart from Him. Jesus is God’s way and, therefore, the only way. Our choice is to humble ourselves and follow God’s way or continue  our stubborn rebellion and do what we think is right, somehow believing we will force God, Who alone can raise us from the dead and hold us accountable, to see our wisdom and change His standard. This is as ridiculous as believing we are products of random chance through cosmic creation by accident.
