“But you, man of God, flee from these things, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of eternal life to which you were called and about which you have made a good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” 1 Timothy 6:11-12 CSB https://bible.com/bible/1713/1ti.6.11-12.CSB
The American Church is desperate for men of God. This election has brought with it the freedom to identify ourselves with Jesus without fear. The enemy of the Church will be put on their heels these next four years as our new president cleans house of those who pursue and promote all kinds of ungodliness. The Church now must arise and make disciples to put in place influencers who will continue to encourage God’s ways in our culture far beyond the next election. The man of God must flee from pursuing wealth and comfort, for this has caused so much compromise among Christians in our culture. Identifying with Christ must be our first priority in the marketplace so that we can be used by God to change the marketplace and reflect the love of God and the love of neighbor He requires from His people. The man of God must fight the fight of faith and cease compromising and cowering from the war of ideas promoted in our culture that are antithetical to the ways of God. Instead, the man of God must arise and identify himself with Jesus by rebuking, correcting, and teaching all righteousness, confessing with his mouth his love for God, faith in Jesus, and commitment to obey everything Jesus commands. The American Church needs godly men, men unashamed of Jesus who make Jesus known among everyone they know and everywhere they go through lives of godliness and words that promote the gospel. Our time is now to recapture the American culture, but it will only happen if godly men arise and join the battle of ideas that will determine the will of the nation.
