Doing Good Means Serving Jesus By Doing Good That Glorifies God and Draws People to Christ

John 12:26, 32, 45 NIV “Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me. And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” The one who looks at me is seeing the one who sent me.” https://bible.com/bible/111/jhn.12.26-45.NIV

All humanity is created in the image of God. God is good, and therefore, all of humanity enjoys doing good. Little children take great joy when praised for demonstrating kindness to others. All good is not the same. While doing good is always a good thing, the good God rewards for eternal life is that good done for the glory of God in Jesus, the Savior. The servant of God must follow Jesus, not their own interests or self-determined causes of goodness. The servant of God follows Jesus, and Jesus must be exalted in the doing of good so that He is lifted up, drawing people to Him for their salvation. The purpose of doing good is for people to praise God by loving Him in Jesus the Savior. Jesus is God. When we see Jesus, we see God. Jesus is God as man so that He can die for the sins of man as a perfect sacrifice. Jesus is God, and therefore, He has risen from the dead, proving His sacrifice was complete. It is this good work that we must believe in and continue by presenting Jesus as Savior and Lord through the proclamation of His work for our benefit so that all people can live forever with Him in His eternal kingdom. As Jesus’ good was to die for all, so all who are in Jesus must do good by helping everyone believe and obey His good work.
