The culmination of the redemption by God of lost humanity is in Jesus. From creation, God has been working to reconcile rebellious humanity with Himself. A holy God to be just can only allow a holy people to live with Him. He remains holy, and we are not. Beginning with Israel and His law, He started satisfying His justice while forgiving our rebellion through the sacrifice of animals. But animal sacrifice is insufficient for human rebellion. In Jesus, God came to us and offered His perfect life, a human sacrifice to forever purchase for God a people for Himself to live forever with Him. This Jesus alone has authority over all people and is the only God Who can forgive human rebellion. One God in the Person of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is the only true God. The pope lied when he said recently that all religions lead to the same god. The One True God requires all people to recognize Him alone as God and will not tolerate humanity calling Him anything they want and honoring Him any way they choose. Would you allow such nonsense if you were god? All people everywhere must come to Jesus to be reconciled to God. It only requires our humility to recognize Jesus is Lord of all and King of the universe. So we bow before Him in honor of Him to seek His pardon so we can live forever with Him and all those who have likewise humbled themselves before the One and Only God.
