Leviticus 17:10-12 NIV records, “ ‘I will set my face against any Israelite or any foreigner residing among them who eats blood, and I will cut them off from the people. For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life. Therefore, I say to the Israelites, “None of you may eat blood, nor may any foreigner residing among you eat blood.” https://bible.com/bible/111/lev.17.12.NIV
There is one God and Ruler over all humanity. God sets the rules by which He will judge humanity. These are not negotiable. God does not invite us to debate His ways but demands we obey His ways. His commands are good and not burdensome. We are to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves in accordance with His commands. This means there are certain behaviors intolerable for society because they blatantly defy the commands or acknowledgment of the One True God. Christians cannot support the sexual practices of the depraved. Sex is only allowed in marriage between a man and a woman for the procreation of children who are to be instructed in the ways of God, even as His ways are modeled by the parents. Murder is unacceptable at any level, including abortion, for God is the giver of all life and begins His image of us at conception. Minneapolis recently began sounding the Muslim call to prayer in their city in order to appease their hostile Muslim community to the ways of our God and the founding of our nation. This tolerance is not loving but foolish for defying our God and encouraging further the Muslim disdain for American ways. There is right and wrong, but God must define these. He alone is wise enough to know the difference, and He alone is powerful enough to reward and punish all people for all eternity for their adherence or rebellion against His ways. The Christian is sworn to allegiance to God and His ways as given to us in the Scriptures, or they are no Christian at all and subject to the same judgment to come as those who deny Jesus.
