Galatians 5:6-7, 14-17, 19 NIV “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. You were running a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth?…. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other. So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want….. The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;” https://bible.com/bible/111/gal.5.6-19.NIV
What is love? The pagans have redefined love from doing what is best for others to allowing others to do what they believe is best for themselves. The Church, steeped in pagan ideology from the secular university and embracing social media as the standard, has embraced this ungodly definition of love, causing society much harm and the Church to become much weaker. God’s love is unconditional and sacrificial. God’s love initiated what is best for us, while we were still sinners, Christ came and died for us. Christian parents ignore God’s word to discipline their children with the rod to teach them self-control, honor, and submission to parents, and respect for others. Instead, embracing a more ‘gentle’ parenting approach, they allow children to have their way, hoping to soothe and redirect their selfish interests, which causes them to become self-centered, undisciplined adults who neither fear God nor love their fellow man sacrificially. Defining love as doing whatever we want allows children to mutilate themselves because they think they are a different gender, having listened to the lies and filth in their homes and in the government schools. Nothing is better for anyone when everyone engages in sexual immorality of any kind, because we love people and wish them to be free to choose whatever lifestyle they deem most appropriate. True love is rebuking the sinner, causing them to repent and obey God that they might know the hope of eternity, the joy of purpose, and the power to live pure and productive lives. True love is giving to others what is best for them, whether rebuke, help, service, or discipline. True love develops people into obedient disciples of Jesus, not allowing our sinful nature to take us further away from the commands of our God, Who judges all people for eternal consequences.
