(Heb) 11:5-6 CJB “By trusting, Hanokh was taken away from this life without seeing death — “He was not to be found, because God took him away” — for he has been attested as having been, prior to being taken away, well pleasing to God. And without trusting, it is impossible to be well pleasing to God, because whoever approaches him must trust that he does exist and that he becomes a Rewarder to those who seek him out.”
Seeking God is what separates the man who knows about God from the man who walks with God.
Hebrews 11 tells us Enoch pleased God. How? He trusted Him. And without faith, it is impossible to please God.
This is where seeking God begins—believing He is real and that He rewards those who pursue Him.
Enoch didn’t drift into intimacy. He pursued it.
Seeking God Requires Intentional Faith
No man pleases God casually.
Seeking God means you go after Him.
You trust Him.
You choose His will.
This was the way of Enoch.
This was the way of Jesus.
Jesus said His food was to do the Father’s will. His joy was pleasing the Father.
That path is still the path.
Seeking God Changes How You Live
When a man is serious about seeking God, it shows.
He prays.
He opens the Word.
He obeys what he reads.
Not perfectly—but consistently.
God responds to that man.
Hebrews says He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.
The reward is not just what God gives.
The reward is God Himself.
Seeking God Is Available to You
Enoch proves this is possible.
You don’t need a different life.
