Those who deny God are children of the devil, deniers of truth and murderers of the innocent. Harsh words? God’s words. The tragedy at the Texas school is an anomaly for those who deny God and truth. They reject God’s moral law, wanting to do whatever is right in their own eyes, even murdering the unborn who has no voice against their evil deeds. Yet they decry the murder of elementary children by a deranged gunman. Why? In their world everyone should live by their own truth, what if his truth was that children should die like those in the womb? It is those who love God and obey His commands that bring purpose, meaning, and order into the world. God says He made everyone in His image, this gives us meaning, significance, and value thus making murder wrong and evil from in the womb to well after the classroom. God says we are to love our neighbor as ourselves, doing good to others as we would want done for us. Teaching God’s truth of forgiving others, serving others, loving others, is rejected among the educators and media of our day so that everyone does what is right in their own eyes, even if that right seems horrendous to others. God and His word which teaches us His ways so that we can live in love, peace, and unity with one another is despised and rejected from the social discussion. What morals then, what value of human life, is taught in it’s place? Nothing good comes from the perspective that there is no God and men are free to do as they please. Have we not had enough of this lie and its consequences upon our society? When will we embrace God’s truth found in Jesus, obey His commands and live as we were created for His glory and for our good?
