1 John 4.3 declares every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

The new god of this age is the god of tolerance. This god is intolerant of anyone who fails to pay homage to it. Yet if we think carefully and critically we know how weak this god really is.

We cannot have a god of tolerance in the world of science or engineering. If every thought were true and equal we could never fly, never build a bridge, never develop new technologies and never make medicine or surgery better.

Math and science require absolutes, they insist upon truth or bad things happen to people.

Certainly science speculates by hypothesis, and in the current age it does promote as fact things that are not true, like global warming and second hand smoke damage, but these things come from marketing and not engineering.

Absolute truth is necessary for us to live in this world effectively and efficiently. Yet when we ponder God and His existence the false god of intolerance rears its head insisting that there really is no god, all gods are equal and true.

This obscurity clouds our minds and keeps us from absolute truth but He Who created absolute truth in nature itself, like gravity and orbit, demands we understand He, the One True God, is absolute in His sole existence as God and Lord over all that is, all that was, and all that shall ever be.

This is necessary because He is good and He plans to judge all humanity by His standards. He wants us to know Him so that we can pass the final exam, so that we can join Him on His new earth to live with Him and all those who love Him forever.

How do we pass the test?

We acknowledge Jesus as God made manifest, as Him Who is and Who was and Who is to come. We follow Jesus now as the God Who loves us, came to us and will come again for us.

We pass the test when we give ourselves wholly and fully to Jesus as Savior and Lord of all.

We are truly God’s when we become tolerant of only one way and one God and one truth, Jesus Christ the Savior of the world.
