This is the problem in our culture today, too many, and far too many Christians, do not understand the Scriptures and therefore the power and Person of God. So many examples of this reality exist: God made male and female, intentional and unequivocal, yet we are confused over what is a female, adding a host of somethings beyond male and female. God forms humanity in the womb, condemning murder, identifying Himself as Life, how can it be even remotely possible that He would choose murder so that a woman could be free from bearing children? God spoke everything that exists into being, placing everything perfectly in it’s place, He did not use evolution to bring about His creation, denying His power and the consequence of death brought on by man’s rebellion against His perfect world. Jesus is God and Man, born of a virgin, born without sin, remaining sinless His entire human life with us so that He could be the perfect sacrifice for all the sins of all humanity for all of time, making Him the only means of salvation for all people everywhere. God will not share His glory with anyone, only one way leads to eternal life, that way is Jesus, Who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. So many things God tells us about Himself so we will obey His ways but we refuse and ignore Him at our own eternal peril. God is good, man is evil, we must be restored to God to be pardoned for our sin. Jesus is the means, the Scriptures tell us of the way, it is our responsibility to seek Him and to know Him while He may still be found by us.
