There Is Only One Acceptable Response To God

““Therefore let all the house of Israel know with certainty that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.” When they heard this, they were pierced to the heart and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?” Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:36-38 CSB https://bible.com/bible/1713/act.2.36-38.CSB

The One True God, Who made heaven and earth and sustains it all even today by His Word, has revealed Himself to humanity incrementally so that we may know Him and obey everything He has commanded. This God chose a man to begin a nation, Abraham, choosing his lineage through Isaac that would become Israel, the people of God. This nation is where God revealed Himself as one of us choosing to come in human form as a Jew, a descendent of King David. God in Jesus is the Promised Messiah. His word, through the prophets foretold, was fulfilled even as He tells us that He will come again to form a new heaven and earth. Israel, the people of God, rejected God as a person, but God, Who loves all people and promised that Abraham’s descendent would be a blessing to all nations, has continued to reveal Himself in and through His Church as He confirms His word spoken long ago and recorded for our obedience to His ways. Today, the nations rage, but the Church continues His work inside all of them. Israel and all countries must repent. They must acknowledge Jesus as Lord so that they might have their sins forgiven and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, Who seals in our hearts the guaranteed future of our lives forever with God.
