“¶Call out this message among the nations: Set yourselves apart for a war; rouse the mighty men! Let all the men of war approach, let them come up! These are days of war. Evil is rampant. The church is poor in its fruitfulness at being the primary influencer of the culture so that the culture reflects the character and will of God. The war Christians are to wage is a war in the heavenlies. It is against principalities and powers in high places that deceive men and keep men from knowing Jesus and obeying His commands. It is time. The harvest is ripe. Judgment is coming sooner now than on any other day in history. Therefore let the men of God embrace the work of God by engaging in the battle for the knowledge of God in the world. Practically this means identifying with Jesus as the only way to salvation. Consistently insist that all men can only be and must be reconciled to God through Jesus the Savior, God in the flesh. His teachings about our origin, identity, and way of living must be exemplified and trumpeted to the nations. The world is too ignorant of God’s ways, as expressed through ignoring Him in His Word and living disobedient lives to His will. Too many in the church are the same, ignorant of God’s word and disobedient to God’s commands. Men of God must engage in this battle for the hearts and souls of humanity by wading into the world with the word of God, holding for their shield of faith to deflect the world’s lies, and wearing their helmet of salvation for knowing how to speak to the world. The eternal destiny of all humanity is before the church, the bride of Christ assigned to bear much fruit, seeing to the whole world becoming children of the God Who loves the world and desires that no one should perish for all eternity apart from His eternal dwelling place.
