““Go and call out these words toward the north and say, ‘Return, faithless Israel,’ declares Yahweh; ‘I will not look upon you in anger. For I am One of lovingkindness,’ declares Yahweh; ‘I will not be angry forever. ‘Only acknowledge your iniquity, That you have transgressed against Yahweh your God And have scattered your ways of harlotry to the strangers under every green tree, And you have not listened to My voice,’ declares Yahweh. ‘Return, O faithless sons,’ declares Yahweh; ‘For I am a master to you, And I will take you one from a city and two from a family, And I will bring you to Zion.’ “Then I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will shepherd you on knowledge and understanding.” (Jeremiah 3:12–15 LSB) https://accordance.bible/link/read/LSB#Jer._3:12
This is what i do, i call out, from the word of God to the world God created, return to God for He is full of loving kindness and so desires to restore you to Himself. The love of God is almost unfathomable, yet He makes Himself known to us in love if we will but reach out to Him. The Lord is good, so immensely good, but we must seek Him if we would see and believe then experience His goodness. We believe and live in too many lies that encourage our own understanding which excludes God. Living this way destroys us, ruins our relationships, and causes us anxiety, depression, and anger. God is a good Master, a wonderful Lord, because He deeply loves us and knows what is best for us. His ways are good for us and for our relationships with each other. God wants us to live with Him and with all those we love forever and has provided such a means if we will but reach out to Him in humility and turn from our self described living. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, we must humble ourselves and turn to Him for life, forgiveness, and wisdom for living. God is good, God is loving and He so earnestly desires for us to know this goodness and this love. We can only experience these things by coming to Him for reconciliation with Him and when we do, Jesus the Son fills us with life abundant and life eternal.
