How To Live Among Others

“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God. Give no offense to Jews or Greeks or the church of God, just as I also try to please everyone in everything, not seeking my own benefit, but the benefit of many, so that they may be saved.” 1 Corinthians 10:31-33 CSB https://bible.com/bible/1713/1co.10.31-33.CSB

This is how we are to live among people to be effective at building God’s kingdom. Our mission is the Great Commission, the seeking and saving of the lost until all men everywhere obey everything the Lord Jesus has commanded. Each one of us who claim to be in Christ, children of God, are ambassadors for Christ to make the gospel of Christ known so that all people hear and believe that God has come and God has offered a means for reconciliation with Him, the Lord Jesus Christ. We are to love people, creating no offense except that which comes from the conviction of sin by the Holy Spirit, Who is at work through us and among us for exalting the name of Jesus to increase His glory upon earth as it is in heaven. Our lives aim to make them useful and fruitful to God, Who wants all people saved, not desiring that anyone should perish but all to come to everlasting life. His will is accomplished through the obedience of His people. Will we love others enough to defer to others so that others are drawn to our love so that we might share with them the only means by which they can be reconciled to God, repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ?
