Jesus Is the Fulfillment: Why Men Can’t Wait to Decide

Romans 10:1–4 (NIV): “Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. Since they did not know the righteousness of God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.”

Christ Alone Fulfills God’s Promise

Paul’s burden was clear: Israel’s salvation could only be found in Jesus, the Messiah. He never taught of a second chance, a hidden millennium of repentance, or a separate plan of salvation. From Genesis to Revelation, God’s covenant promise finds its Yes and Amen in Christ.

The covenant given to Abraham — that all nations would be blessed — is fulfilled in Jesus. The inheritance promised to God’s people is received not through bloodline, law, or religious effort, but through faith in Christ alone. Every true son of Abraham, whether Jew or Gentile, is one who trusts in the work of Jesus.

Why This Matters for Men Today

Men are constantly tempted to build their own righteousness — through career, possessions, strength, or status. Like Israel, we can be “zealous” but lack the knowledge that Christ is our only righteousness.

Brothers, don’t delay. Don’t assume there’s more time. Don’t think you can build a life that impresses God. When Christ returns, He comes as King and Judge, separating those who loved Him from those who rejected Him.

The Call to Purpose, Provision, and Priority

  • Purpose: Your life is not about climbing ladders or protecting your own kingdom. Your purpose is to belong to Christ and live for His kingdom.

  • Provision: The greatest provision you can give your family isn’t money, but pointing them to Jesus, the only source of eternal life.

  • Priority: Don’t waste years chasing what fades. Today is the day to repent, believe, and lead others to Christ.

The Final Word

All must repent and trust the work of God through Jesus the Lord. Those who belong to Him will live forever with God in joy, peace, and abundance on the new earth. Those who reject Him will live forever in torment, away from God.

God is faithful to His promises. Jesus is the fulfillment of every promise. Don’t wait. Believe, lead, and live for Him now.
