Saying we love someone and showing we love someone are not the same. Actions prove our words just as words explain our actions. Both are necessary. So we praise our God with the people of God. We testify about our God to all people so that all people can recognize Jesus as King of kings and Lord of lords. We obey everything Jesus commands, for in this way, we prove to Him, demons, and all people that we love Jesus first and most. Our love is demonstrated by our words and by our deeds. Time is how we come to know someone, causing us to speak love to them, moving our actions to demonstrate love for them. Our time with someone indicates our love for someone, for that time can be spent speaking and doing those things that demonstrate our love for them. Our time with God is to be daily in His word so that we can praise Him for His mighty deeds and pray to Him for compliance with His holy will. We must spend time in His word if we are to be drawn by His Spirit to doing the work of God He predestined us to accomplish before the foundation of the world. It is the word of God, His speaking to us that we recognize God’s love and understand more clearly the works He has done on our behalf because He loves us. Likewise, it is this time in His word that we are increasingly moved to praise Him because we experience Him, and in praising Him, we want to serve Him more and more to show our love to Him. The world needs Christians who truly love God, demonstrated by their testimony of Him and their acts of service for Him because they have spent time with Him and wish to prove their love for Him.
