The Lord God Almighty has been at war since before the creation of humanity for it was His adversary who enticed the first people to rebel against God.
This spiritual war has evidenced itself as rebellion against all that is Good, all that is God’s will, and all that is reflective of His holy nature. We see the effects in the crimes humanity conducts against humanity. We see the effects of this war in the catastrophes the earth hurls upon its inhabitants.
The world is at war against God led by unseen forces who entice men to ignore and disobey God and His good will toward His creation.
But God has come!
In Jesus, God has appeared to men to rescue them from the consequences of their disobedience and restore them to the glory that was to be theirs since the beginning.
This glory is manifest as obedience to God where people live together in unity, love and care for one another as they work together to bring the Kingdom of God to earth as it is now in heaven.
God too is engaged in this work forming each of His children into a holy dwelling place where He Himself occupies their hearts and minds.
The true Christian reflects this workmanship of God in their lives as they increasing obey the commands of Christ and reflect the image of God in their conduct and character.
God is working within His children to restore their outer beauty of holiness and godliness so that the rest of the world can see His workmanship and so also come to Him for restoration.
