2 Corinthians 5.11 warns since, then, we know what it is to fear the Lord, we try to persuade others.
The problem is we really don’t fear God. We live our lives silently knowing that we are not always doing what is right while believing God doesn’t really care because He doesn’t give us immediate feedback for our actions.
We deceive ourselves into believing that because God is love He overlooks all wrong. (more…)
2 Corinthians 3:18 expects we all, are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory,
which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
We were made by God for God to serve God. It takes a degree of humility on our part to accept this reality. If there is a God, and we are not Him, then we must be the creation and He the Creator.
If we are the creation then we are subject to the will of the Creator. The Bible declares the will of the Creator to be all of His creation glorify Him. (more…)
Ezekiel 14.14 declares even if these three men—Noah, Daniel and Job—were in it, they could save only
themselves by their righteousness, declares the Sovereign Lord.
The end is near God told Ezekiel. He was about to destroy Jerusalem through the army of the Babylonians because His people had for so long refused to obey His commands. God’s disgust was so high that He declared even if three great saints were present and alive in that city, only they would be spared but not the city itself.
Sometimes God spares whole communities based upon the righteous deeds of one. Sometimes He doesn’t. (more…)
Ezekiel 11.19 promises I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove 
from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.

Ezekiel 3.20 describes when a righteous person turns from their righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling block before them, they will die. The righteous things that person did will not be remembered…
While the love of God should move us toward Him the wrath of God should cause us pause. We have heard much of the love of God. Most non church attendees can quote John 3.16 about God so loving the world that He sent His ONLY Son etc. (more…)
Luke 14:33 claims those of you who do not give up everything you have cannot be my disciples.
The God Who made the universe and all it contains…The God Who sustains the universe and everything in it…The God Who is larger than the universe…this God compressed Himself into a human being so that He could communicate His love to us in a way we would understand through both His words and His deeds.

Knowing God’s will is not complicated.
The difference between the Christian God and all other gods, including Allah, is the clarity by which He makes Himself known and what He requires. This only makes sense if God is truly loving and just.
A God Who desires a relationship with humanity must by virtue of the desire reveal as clearly as possible His personality, intentions and will to those with whom He desires a relationship. (more…)
Luke 7.28 declares among those born of women there is no one greater than John; yet the one who is
least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.
Everyone wants to be great at something. When we are young our desire to be great usually focuses upon our studies, popularity, sports or arts. As we mature our desire for greatness shifts to our work or even our family.
We want to be great because we want to be the best because……why is it so important we always win? (more…)
Acts 28.27 describes this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand 
with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.
Who is God describing in this quote? His religious followers.
