The Key To Living Wisely

“A fool will no longer be called honorable; a deceiver will no longer be called principled. For a fool speaks disgraceful things; his mind plans out sinful deeds. He commits godless deeds and says misleading things about the Lord; he gives the hungry nothing to satisfy their appetite and gives the thirsty nothing to drink. A deceiver’s methods are evil; he dreams up evil plans to ruin the poor with lies, even when the needy are in the right.” Isaiah 32:5-7 NET https://bible.com/bible/107/isa.32.5-7.NET

Our social media moguls, newsroom pundits, university professors, and government officials currently play the role of the fool in our culture, deceiving the masses, withholding the truth, and promulgating evil. Foolishly, so many in the church listen and follow their ways. It is the fool who says there is no God, and it is the fool who disobeys God. Truth begins with the word of God, and the people of God desperately need a renewed hunger and thirst for every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Our deception is facilitated by our lack of diligence to seek God, to understand His ways, and to love obedience to His will. Until we hunger and thirst for righteousness as God prescribes in His word, we will continue to suffer the results of living as fools by living in violation of God’s ways. On the new earth, Jesus will bring forward He will reign supreme in full acknowledgment by all people. This will be a glorious place where we live forever in truth and righteousness. Those who will live on the new earth will follow Jesus on this earth, seeking and saving the lost to see His kingdom come, and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We can taste the future now if we win the fools of this world to the Savior Jesus, and all of us walk in obedience to everything He has commanded us.
