“Let us not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us work for the good of all, especially for those who belong to the household of faith.” Galatians 6:9-10 CSB https://bible.com/bible/1713/gal.6.10.CSB
The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Who is praying for workers? Who is the answer to that prayer? There is much work to do, and those who belong to Christ are to work even as our Father in heaven has always been at work and is now working among us, around us, and in some, through us, to accomplish His purposes on earth as they are in heaven. Two works we must do now. The first is the constant work of seeking and saving the lost. The Great Commission is the mission of every Christian. The world’s values and behavior reflect the degree of work the Church accomplished in obedience to its mandate to make disciples. Loving people and teaching them to obey Jesus is the practical work Christians are left upon earth to achieve. We must seek and save the lost and then take them to Scripture to obey everything Jesus has commanded. This leads to the second practical thing we must do.
We must vote Tuesday for the lesser of two evils. Doing good for all, as our Scripture reading commands, is voting against the party that wantonly destroys children based upon the desires of a woman who seeks to abort and a child who thinks they want to be a different gender. Murder and mutilation are the mantras of a certain party to the demise of our culture. Christians cannot support this platform. We must vote for the other party that has no such agenda and, though greatly imperfect, currently supports traditional marriage, two God-ordained identities, and limited to no abortion. The choice isn’t between good and bad but between horrible and bad. Vote and vote according to Biblical values because Christians are commanded to obey everything Jesus has recorded for us in His love letter to us.
