God Defines What Pleases Him, Not Us.
Jeremiah 38.20-21 promises,…
Psalms 1.1-2 describes, blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the
wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.
The Scripture has many names for the people of God including aliens and strangers in the world. Though our God has left us in this world He commanded that we not be of the world. The beloved Apostle John describes worldliness as loving what our eyes see, what our hearts want and boasting of our accomplishments. Too many Christians are living worldly lives. (more…)
Jeremiah 20.8,11 describes, whenever I speak, I cry out proclaiming violence
and destruction. So the word of the Lord has brought me insult and reproach all day long…….But the Lord is with me like a mighty warrior; so my persecutors will stumble and not prevail. They will fail and be thoroughly disgraced; their dishonor will never be forgotten. (more…)
Acts 10.28,35 records, he said to them: “You are well aware that it is against our
law for a Jew to associate with or visit a Gentile. But God has shown me that I should not call anyone impure or unclean……but accepts from every nation the one who fears Him and does what is right.
Christianity is the only religion in the world that teaches all men are created by God from one man so all men are equal before God. Our founders knew this and wrote it into their declaration of independence though it was yet to be practiced at a national scale anywhere in the world. (more…)
If you are all bought into the rhetoric of the CDC, your particular Governor and
their mandates, what you hear everyday from CNN and the traditional media, then this discussion is not for you. Almost no one changes their opinion about anything anymore and I am sure I will not convince you to think outside your current bubble.

Jeremiah 6.16 records, this is what the Lord says: “Stand at the crossroads and

Isaiah 64.7 observes, no one calls on Your name or strives to lay hold of You; for

This chapter, like many of the previous chapters, seems to speak to our country and our church today. All of the many things going wrong in our culture has not driven many yet to the point of perpetual prayer. Who is striving to lay hold of God? (more…)
Deuteronomy 30.15-18 offers, I set before you today life and prosperity, death
and destruction. For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to Him, and to keep His commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess. But if your heart turns away and you are not obedient, and if you are drawn away to bow down to other gods and worship them, I declare to you this day that you will certainly be destroyed. You will not live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess. (more…)
Revelation 21.7-8 describes, those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I
will be their God and they will be My children. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death. (more…)
Psalms 91.14-16, explains, because he loves Me, says the Lord, I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges My Name. He will call on Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation.
The blessing of the Lord, who does not want that in their life? I know I certainly do. How then do we receive God’s favor? (more…)
