“Concerning him we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need again for someone to teach you the elementary principles of the oracles of God, and you have come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is an infant. But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern both good and evil.” Hebrews 5:11-14 LSB https://bible.com/bible/3345/heb.5.12.LSB
The election proved that much of the church, particularly the youth, is immature, dull of hearing the Word of God, unaccustomed to practicing righteousness, and unable to discern good from evil. This results from Christian parents not discipling their children and churches not discipling their youth groups. Too much worldliness and not enough more profound truth have filled our Christian homes and churches, leaving our 20-40-year-olds ignorant of God’s pro-life position and their identity as male and female, not something that is subject to change with our whim. Science has become the ultimate truth because our homes and churches do not refute evolutionary teaching, which has discredited God’s word in the minds of the young. Gender dysphoria is common, a former mental illness, with parents and churches ignoring or ignorant of God’s perspective on this subject and not teaching Christian children what is true on this matter as revealed in the ultimate source of truth, God’s word. This is the need of the hour for every home and church. The Bible must be read, studied, and taught diligently, systematically, fervently, and continuously until our children and we are characterized by unequivocal adherence and obedience to everything God has commanded us. My discipleship in my home will begin by going through the New Testament with my children and highlighting every command of Jesus to discuss its application to our lives. This is the definition of discipleship that our Lord gave us – obedience to everything He commanded.
