God Asks, Where Is A Man?

““Why was there no man when I came? When I called, why was there none to answer? Is My hand so short that it cannot ransom? Or have I no power to deliver? Behold, I dry up the sea with My rebuke; I make the rivers a wilderness; Their fish stink for lack of water And die of thirst.” (Isaiah 50:2 LSB)  https://accordance.bible/link/read/LSB#Is._50:2

What is a real man? A real man is a man of God. A real man stands before God, seeking God in order to see His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. He comes before God to petition God for the Spirit of God and the will of God to be done on earth as it is in heaven when evil abounds and the godly seem powerless to prevail. When God comes to answer such prayers He finds the man of God prostrate, crying out for help, looking for God to rescue and redeem. When the Lord God comes to answer the man of God He also finds that man working to see righteousness done on earth. The man of God serves others to reveal the love of God and to give hope in God particularly when the evil rule among us. When the Lord God comes looking for the man of God to empower the man of God He equips such a man with wisdom, strength, and blessing to prevail, overcome, and to persist so that the will of God is accomplished upon earth as it is in heaven. What should the man of God be doing today? He should be praying for the leaders of our nations whose evil is great. He should be praying for the end of the evil war in Ukraine. He should be praying against the evil being done to Christians throughout Africa by Muslims. He should be working to end abortion. He should be giving generously to help those in need as those around him struggle with gas prices and inflation. He should be sharing the gospel and discipling others as people lose hope in their futures. Where is the man of God when the Lord returns? He will be found busy at his post, praying then doing the work of God so that the will of God is accomplished on earth as it is in heaven.
