Regrettably, this man is deceiving ignorant Christians, and he, too, is deceived by his misperception of love or love’s primary focus. I don’t know where gays are not allowed. All of the Churches I am familiar with welcome gays to hear their message of repentance and faith in Jesus. Jesus died on the cross for sins, among which is all sexual activity outside the marriage bed of one man and one woman, because God is holy (Genesis 2). The holiness of God crucified the perfect Son of God because God so loved the world. He was not willing that we perish in eternal condemnation for our immorality but died as punishment for all those who repent and believe in the work of God accomplished for us in Jesus the Savior. The reason Christians can charge interest, trim their beards, sell land, eat shrimp, and wear two different fabrics is that these laws do not make a man justified before God now that Christ has perfectly obeyed these laws and all the laws of God but was still crucified as a lawbreaker for me, the true lawbreaker so that He could pardon me for my law-breaking. Now that He has risen from the dead and appropriated His righteousness and holiness to me, I am free from these laws but under the law of love. I am to love God first and foremost, with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. This love for God requires me to honor God by obeying His commands, of which sexual purity is one. God has always required sexual purity. The marriage bed is to be undefined by fornication, homosexuality, or adultery. If I love God first and foremost, I will be holy as He is holy, and that means living as God requires, which in part is to keep myself from sexual immorality.

If We Love God We Will Follow His Commands About Sexuality
1 Thessalonians 4:3-8 NIV records, “It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God; and that in this matter no one should wrong or take advantage of a brother or sister. The Lord will punish all those who commit such sins, as we told you and warned you before. For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. Therefore, anyone who rejects this instruction does not reject a human being but God, the very God who gives you his Holy Spirit.” https://bible.com/bible/111/1th.4.3-8.NIV
