People are God’s idea! The Creator of all things visible and invisible made humanity in His image for His purposes and glory. He can do as He pleases with His creation for He sustains its life and determines its future upon death for He is life and raises all people from the dead to judge them for either living with Him forever in love, peace, and joy or for living away from Him in suffering, anguish, and torment forever. God is Father, He calls His own His children, He loves family and joins His people into one body Whose head is Jesus the Lord. It is natural then for people to form communities and then nations and these communities must decide whether they will worship the One True God, themselves, or something else. Those people who seek the One True God, Whose ways are revealed in the Scripture, in order to worship Him properly and obey Him completely, will find His blessing upon them for their lives please Him. This was true of so many who came to this country originally for the freedom to worship God as they understood Him from the Scriptures. The land and the people were blessed for they sought to know God and obey His commands and their obedience to the ways of God resulted in the blessing of God. So many nations reject the One True God, these countries suffer in so many ways, for their gods are oppressive, evil, and selfish resulting in poverty and pain for their worshippers. The Church is responsible for teaching people about the One True God so that we worship and obey Him properly. The health of the church will determine the health of the nation which will be reflected in the health of the people. O church, rise up in this country, return to the Scriptures as the absolute authority for living and proclaim once again that Jesus is Lord; our nation, our future, depends upon it.
