The Purpose For Our Life Has Already Been Given

1 Timothy 2.4-7declares, He wants not only us but everyone saved, you know, everyone to get to know the truth we’ve learned: that there’s one God and only one, and one Priest-Mediator between God and us—Jesus, who offered Himself in exchange for everyone held captive by sin, to set them all free. Eventually the news is going to get out. This and this only has been my appointed work: getting this news to those who have never heard of God, and explaining how it works by simple faith and plain truth.

The will of God is for all people everywhere to know Him and to grow into His image becoming just like His first born Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. The means God has ordained for accomplishing His will is through His people, the Church, obedient to His command to go and make disciples. Every person in Christ, is to be a part of bringing every person separated from Christ, to Christ, for reconciliation. So many Christians are asking God and each other what their purpose is, what they are to give their lives to, while God has already defined our purpose and commanded us to take up our cross and follow Him. Jesus came to seek and save the lost. We take up our cross when we deny the play, pleasure and purpose we could pursue for ourselves in order to work with others at seeking and saving the lost, just as Jesus, Who did not come to do His own will but the will of the Father Who sent Him.

Most people are religious. Most people seek god. Most people are confused about Who the One True God is and are ignorant of the Truth He gave us by His Word recorded in the Scriptures. The mission of every Christian is the Great Commission.

Christians are to go to people and win them to God’s point of view through the sharing of God’s truth while serving, loving and giving to people, thereby showing people God’s love by their good deeds.
