What I Believe And Hope For In 2025.

“He said to them, “Hear me, Levites. Consecrate yourselves now and consecrate the temple of the Lord, the God of your ancestors. Remove everything impure from the holy place. For our ancestors were unfaithful and did what is evil in the sight of the Lord our God. They abandoned him, turned their faces away from the Lord’s dwelling place, and turned their backs on him……My sons, don’t be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand in his presence, to serve him, and to be his ministers and burners of incense.”” 2 Chronicles 29:5-6, 11 CSB https://bible.com/bible/1713/2ch.29.11.CSB

I believe Donald Trump’s presidency is an act of God. When in our history has a president so despised and maligned been reelected as president after losing a second term? I don’t believe God allowed Donald to be president because he is a good man or even a Christian man. I think he was reinstated because he is God’s man for removing so much evil and corruption in Washington that has been destroying the foundation of America. A foundation God was integrally part of establishing. I believe that too. Moving the heart of kings is God’s business, and His servant for that business is DJT. The Church’s business is the winning and discipling of all people to obedience to Jesus Christ. We have been poor at accomplishing this business these past fifty years or more. America no longer reflects the Christian values of its founding. Immorality, injustice, and ignorance of God in Jesus the Savior have never been more prevalent. The Church, of whom all in Christ comprise and therefore are ministers of His in the world, must reengage its mission, the Great Commission, before and more intentionally than any other mission in our lives. Our job, those in Christ, is to fill our minds with God’s word so that we are thoroughly knowledgeable of God’s ways to completely obey God’s will, which includes seeking and saving our lost neighbor and teaching them to obey everything Jesus has commanded. I pray 2025 begins the restoration of this country’s recognition that Jesus is our God. Not that everyone must be Christian but that everyone is fully aware of Christ’s true nature and commands so that they understand His ways and conform to His desires by choice with the rest of us insisting upon our leaders promoting policy congruent with holiness. This will come not by Christian coercion, which is not the way of the One True God,  but by Christian conversion through the proclamation of the gospel and the teaching of God’s word as God’s people humble themselves before Him, serve and love their neighbor sacrificially, and unashamedly identify and speak of Jesus in the marketplace.
