Troubles Are Not Going Away, But We Have Hope

Numbers 21.7-9 explains, the people came to Moses and said, We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us. So Moses prayed for the people. The Lord said to Moses, Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live. So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. What God Has Declared, We Are Becoming

Hebrews 10.14,36 share, by one sacrifice He has made perfect forever those who are being made holy…..You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised.

 

The declaration of God over the people of God is that they are perfect. Declared perfect because of the perfect life lived by God in Jesus now appropriated to us who are imperfect and in no way able to live perfect lives. The perfect life required by God has been ‘lived’ by those of us who believe in God through Jesus the Savior Who lived a perfect life but died in judgement from God for our imperfect lives. (more…)

The Problem is Simple, Ignorance of Truth

Hebrews 5.14 observes, but solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

 

This is the problem with so many Christians today, particularly among the youth, they have no discernment between good and evil. Like the world, the media, the university professor, they call good evil and evil good. This is because they have not put to constant use the solid food of the Word of God. (more…)

Who Are We With And What Are We Doing?

2 Timothy 3.2-5 describes, people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

The disciples did not see Jesus pray for the demon to be removed, they only saw Him rebuke the demon and it left the boy. Why then did Jesus say the disciples failed to remove the demon by their rebuke because they had not prayed? (more…)
