Jesus, God, saves today because He is alive today. Of course God is alive otherwise He would not and could not be God. God by His very nature cannot ever die. Jesus is God. All God and all man is God in Jesus. Not easy to understand, rejected by Muslims and atheists, but proclaimed by Christians as the only Way, Truth, and Life for living with God forever in heaven now and upon the new earth when He remakes everything to live forever with Him in His presence. There are many today who reject Jesus as God. They see Him as only a good man, not even a perfect or sinless man. This is a rejection of God as He reveals Himself in Scripture. Jesus must be God otherwise He could not have lived a perfect life as a man so that He could be the man sacrificed for the sins of all mankind for all time. Jesus must be God to have come back to life in order to give eternal life to all who follow Him. Jesus must be God to live today as both Savior and Judge of all mankind who pass from this life and enter immediately into His presence to be judged for all eternity. Those who believe Jesus is God, the Savior, the Lord of all and have followed Him in obedience by faith in Him, will live forever with Him and all those who have loved Him. Those who reject Jesus as God the Savior, as Lord over all, will be judged by Him, rejected by Him for living with Him permanently and will instead reside with all of His enemies in fire and torment forever and ever. God loves the world so came Himself to the world in order to save the world by offering Himself as a sacrifice for our sins so that we do not have to be condemned at judgement. Rejecting Jesus is to reject God’s offer of salvation, accepting Jesus is to receive His offer of pardon and therefore life forever with the Living God Who is Jesus the Lord.
