“The wicked flee when no one is pursuing them, but the righteous are as bold as a lion…… Those who reject the law praise the wicked, but those who keep the law pit themselves against them.” Proverbs 28:1, 4 CSB https://bible.com/bible/1713/pro.28.1-4.CSB
Many Christian business leaders are in hiding about their faith in Christ. They fear the retribution of those in higher authority, the loss of influential relationships, humiliation in the marketplace, and decreased revenue. Most of these fears are unfounded, though the world is increasingly hostile against Christianity. Rather than addressing these fears with bold and vibrant identification with Christ to win the lost, encourage the weak, and suffer for reward, being bold as a lion, too many cower, hoping their nice behavior will suffice as a witness for Christ. These Christian men are not ‘pitting’ themselves against the wicked, insisting upon obeying Christ rather than men by refusing to ‘train’ their people in DEI biases or promoting LGBTQ identity rhetoric that supports a lifestyle destructive to themselves, the culture, and God’s clear commands. When the righteous, the Christian leader, stands for Christ, the battle is engaged in the heavenly realms, ideas are taken captive to Christ, the righteous rejoice, and the blessing of God’s Spirit is released upon His people. Evil has increased because good men have done nothing. The man of God is as bold as a lion. It is time to identify unashamedly with Jesus to push back the threat of darkness and reveal Him, Who is light and life for all who will repent and believe.
