Christian theology teaches we are born sinful, with the sinful nature of Adam transferred to all generations like spiritual DNA. It explains why children must be trained in the way they should go since they rebel against all manner of instructions from birth. Yet most learned men reject God, especially in the university, so they teach people that they are born morally neutral and become good or bad based upon their environment. Parents are to create positive, healthy environments to produce positive and healthy children. This is not God’s point of view and is why we continue to raise generations of rebels against God since we fail to train children properly using God’s ways. The remedy is to know God’s commands found in God’s word and to obey those commands. Then, our children and we will not be ashamed of our behavior on that Day when we stand before our God to be rewarded for our obedience to everything He has commanded. We must choose what we believe because our behavior reflects that belief. We either believe God and study His scriptures because we believe them to be the truth, or we believe the pagans and live according to the wise and learned of our culture who reject God and will be cast away from God to spend eternity in punishment for their evil words and deeds. Obedience to God results from knowing God’s will through applying God’s word to our lives, empowered by God’s Spirit and encouraged by God’s church.
