Romans 6.13 commands, do not offer any parts of (your body) to sin as weapons for unrighteousness. But as those who are alive from the dead, offer yourselves to God, and all the parts of yourselves to God as weapons for righteousness.
Christians must see themselves in a spiritual battle. We see the results of this battle all around us when we see men doing evil. The increase of wickedness in the world, is the loss of this battle by Christians who are to be engaging this battle for good as salt, light and leaven in the world. (more…)
John 4.22 proclaims, you Samaritans worship what you do not know. We worship what we do know, because salvation is from the Jews.
One of the most offensive things a person can say today is that there is only one true religion, one true way to heaven, one true God. People become offended by this because they feel it is offensive to other people. However, these same people do not seem to think that believing and advocating for many ways to heaven and many gods to get there might be offensive to the One True God.
