Hebrews 5.7-10 describes, while He lived on earth, anticipating death, Jesus cried out in
pain and wept in sorrow as He offered up priestly prayers to God. Because He honored God, God answered Him. Though He was God’s Son, He learned trusting-obedience by what He suffered, just as we do. Then, having arrived at the full stature of His maturity and having been announced by God as high priest in the order of Melchizedek, He became the source of eternal salvation to all who believingly obey Him. Because Jesus honored the Father, the Father answered the prayers of the Son. As we ask anything in Jesus’ Name, the anything that will honor the Son and glorify the Father, the anything that will facilitate the kingdom of God increasing upon earth as it fills heaven, He, Jesus, will hear our prayers and grant us what we asked of Him. Numbers 21.7-9 explains, the people came to Moses and said, We sinned when
we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us. So Moses prayed for the people. The Lord said to Moses, Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live. So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, they lived. (more…)
Psalm 34.19-20 promise, the righteous person may have many troubles, but the
Lord delivers him from them all; He protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken. (more…)
Malachi 3.18 promises, you will again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him.
Sometimes the people of God become discouraged following the Lord because they are not feeling blessed by the Lord as a result of their following Him. We follow Him for what we want from Him, blessing. We don’t follow Him because we love Him. (more…)
