Ephesians 6.13-18 commands, be prepared. You’re up against far more than you
Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. This is the command of God, how diligent are we to ‘apply’ these words? To apply them we must think about them, we must consider them, and we must pursue them with the Church for in the family of God is wisdom and accountability for not only knowing but for taking action upon these things God has commanded.
1 Corinthians 5.1-2 records, I also received a report of scandalous sex within
Why was this activity wrong? Where did the Lord Jesus condemn such actions? We have to turn to Paul’s Bible, what we call the Old Testament, to find this behavior of a man sleeping with his stepmother immoral. But we are under the New Covenant, why should this apply to us?

We have been called by God to serve God. All of us who claim to be Christians have been chosen by God to be a kingdom of priests. The priesthood of all believers is core to being a Protestant Christian. The priest has been given God’s Word. The way to God, to know Him, is vigorous and requires total attention! Of course it does! God is great. He deserves our best effort and deepest pursuit. We must pursue Him. We must pick up the Scriptures, the writings He has generously given to us for knowing Him and how we are to live. (more…)
Mathew 4.4 records, Jesus answered by quoting Deuteronomy: It takes more
The first need for the men of the church is for them to be men in the word of God. We cannot know the will of God or the ways of God apart from the word of God. So much confusion exists in our society, including the church, over Who God is and what He requires. This confusion is the result of ignorance alone for God has given us clear detail of His workings in the world, the way in which He works and the works He requires men to do and for which they will be held accountable on that day they see Him face to face.
