Hebrews 5.7-10 describes, while He lived on earth, anticipating death, Jesus cried out in
pain and wept in sorrow as He offered up priestly prayers to God. Because He honored God, God answered Him. Though He was God’s Son, He learned trusting-obedience by what He suffered, just as we do. Then, having arrived at the full stature of His maturity and having been announced by God as high priest in the order of Melchizedek, He became the source of eternal salvation to all who believingly obey Him. to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on Him God the Father has placed His seal of approval.
Too many men who claim to be Christians are working for food that spoils. Not enough men who claim to be Christians are working for food that endures to eternal life. (more…)
Proverbs 28.9 promises, anyone who turns his ear away from hearing the law —
even his prayer is detestable.
Everyone prays but not everyone is heard. The Lord is holy, He is God. He is not Santa Claus. Those who pray to Him must be those who listen to Him.
